Electric Vehicle Steps : Step Catalogue : AVS Steps

AVS Steps has worked in partnership with QI Systems to develop new side and rear folding double mounted steps in varying widths and heights for Severn Trent Water’s fleet of IVECO Pod vehicles.

The new D600 steps are virtually maintenance free, and have been specified by Severn Trent Water to address health and safety concerns relating to engineers who frequently access and egress the side and rear load compartments.  AVS’s steps will help reduce the stresses on leg joints associated with stepping into heights, and minimise slips trips and falls around Severn Trent Water’s vehicles.

With safety forefront of mind, both the side and rear steps have been designed for ease of storage and to ensure they are light enough to make folding them in and out of the vehicle easy for Seven Trent Water’s engineers, but strong enough to support heavy loads. Within minutes, the steps can also be easily detached from the vehicle to allow equipment to be stowed away.

As the market leader in providing steps to van fleet operators, AVS Steps works in partnership with all the major vehicle convertors, like QI, Bott, Bristore and VFS to develop and create access solutions utilising its core manual and electric cassette product ranges to ensure the right step is fitted on the right vehicle.

In addition to Severn Trent Water, AVS Steps also supply steps to BT Fleet, National Grid, Scottish Water and Wales and West Utilities, the BBC and the MOD to name a few.
