Rhino Products acquire Hubb Systems!

The Rhino Products Group are pleased to announce that we have successfully acquired commercial vehicle accessories manufacturer, Hubb Systems. 

The acquisition of Hubb Systems is fantastic news for the Rhino Products Group, as we further strengthen our position as market leaders, providing our industry leading products to an even larger share of the market, while also adding to and diversifying our strong product range for our customer base.

The Rhino journey has always been centred around innovation, pushing forwards and consistently providing the very best products and levels of service for our dedicated customers – something that has always been reflected in our ambitious growth plans, such as the recent successful venture in the set up of our new delivery service, Rhino Products Express.

This acquisition does mean that going forwards Rhino will begin to incorporate some Hubb Systems products into the Rhino Products catalogue, and we look forward to sharing details of this with you in the coming weeks. Our in-house team of 9 design engineers are currently working on bringing these products up to our high standards in terms of reliability and rigorous testing, and we will update you further once these products are available for purchase.

New production lines for these products will be set up at our Deeside factory, the home of AVS Steps. These new lines will accommodate newly acquired machinery and equipment, with new staff being welcomed to the group to accommodate additional workflow.

This new acquisition into the Rhino Products Group comes as we celebrate the fifth anniversary of the acquisition of AVS Steps, in 2017. At AVS, we continue to lead the way in the design and manufacture of passenger and emergency service vehicle side steps and have excelled in terms of both product quality and reliability since we were welcomed into the Rhino Group. This announcement follows the news that mid-market private equity firm LDC backed Rhino Group in 2020 to help supercharge their growth – a strategy that can now be seen coming to fruition in this exciting acquisition.
