Regularly cleaning your step is key to keeping your step in good condition, as it helps remove the build-up of any debris that could impact the performance of the step. We recommend pressure washing your Glide Step thoroughly at least every two months. To clean your step effectively:

  • Firstly with the step fully stowed, pressure wash around all visible parts of the step as thoroughly as possible.
  • Then fully deploy the step and repeat the process, allowing any debris to be washed away.
  • Always clean with clean water and mild detergent only.

For full details on how to clean and maintain your step can be found in the Glide Step User Guide.

  • A monthly clean will be required to remove any debris out of the holes located at the rear of the case, this should be done by using a pressurized water jet.
  • Once the step has been jet washed, please allow for the step to dry and apply silicone spay down the side of the tread on the runners.
  • Every 6 months the bottom cover will need to be removed completely and the inside of the step cleaned.
  • Your step will be required to be serviced every 6 months. *Please keep the invoice in case of a warranty claim*
