Electric Vehicle Steps : Step Catalogue : AVS Steps

AVS Steps, the world’s largest automotive step specialist, has signed an exclusive distribution deal with commercial bodybuilder Stedall Ltd to provide its market leading electric and manual cassette steps.

The relationship will see Stedall blending its sales and distribution expertise with AVS’s manufacturing capability to market a new dual-branded slim line cassette step. The ‘KS Range’ has been produced exclusively for sale to Stedall’s well established nationwide customer base. Based on AVS’s best selling ‘K’ type step, the new ‘KS Range’ has been specially redesigned with a slimmer case and is available as a ‘soft deploy’ manual step and as an electric step.

Commenting on the partnership, Andrew Leahy, Managing Director, Stedall, said: “It is important to Stedall that the products we sell are fit for purpose, good quality and supported. We know we have this assurance with AVS Steps. The combination of AVS’s innovative steps and Stedall’s market position creates a great opportunity for both companies. The KS step has broad appeal and can be installed on most types of vehicles. It will complement our existing product range and help us to meet the changing needs of our customers.”

Bristol based Stedall is one of the most reputable suppliers of vehicle component systems in the UK and part of the international marketing, sales and distribution company, The Kroymans Corporation. The new dual branded KS Range will be available from stock within 48 hours to meet customer demand and backed by AVS’s industry renowned two year warranty package.

“AVS Steps has provided us with a high quality product and excellent support infrastructure that will ensure outstanding customer satisfaction levels. We hope to stock more AVS step products in the future,” continued Andrew.

Editors Notes
AVS Steps Ltd
With over 20 years experience, AVS Steps is the World’s largest supplier of automotive steps. First and foremost AVS Steps is a specialist in the design and manufacture of steps, and its product range includes electric and foot operated steps for commercial and utility vehicles, taxis, minibuses, ambulances, and other accessible vehicles including individual mobility vehicles. With the widest range of passenger steps available, AVS ensures that it manufactures the right step for the right vehicle, thereby improving vehicle access for thousands of people every day.

AVS products are designed and manufactured in the UK, and sold both direct and through a network of distributors, world-wide. AVS has based its products on a cassette design using electric or foot operation to power the steps. However, a growing need for improved ground clearance on smaller vehicles has led to the development of a range of cantilever steps and very slim cassette steps.

Committed to quality, the company is ISO9001-2000 accredited and undertakes the most comprehensive range of testing procedures in the industry to ensure its steps meet and exceed all legal requirements, and most importantly meet customers’ demands. AVS supports products from cradle to grave with quality control maintained during build, packing and despatch. A UK installation service is provided and a comprehensive after sales support service.
